The Silent Partner's debut album entitled "Fall Away" has officially been nominated as Independent Rock Album of the Year for the 2005 Los Angeles Music Awards

www.thesilentpartner.com is up and running now! Go check out the new flash website and let us know what you think. Bradfordshaw.com will continue to be updated, however I am generally going by the band name "The Silent Partner" now, so that's your primary source of info.
Brad has officially been nominated as Singer/Songwriter of the year for The LA Music Awards. His full band, "THE SILENT PARTNER" played a showcase for the awards on Tuesday, March 23rd and received much praise from accomplished musicians and industry peops. Over 500 submissions have come in and over 100 bands have competed for one of three nominations in several categories. Brad was chosen as the second of three nominees in his category and will be accepting the nominee certificate this Thursday, June 24th @ Monsoon's Cafe. The awards are to be held November 18th at the Henry Fonda Theater where many stars will be attending including "School of Rock's" Jack Black. Stay tuned for more details.
The Silent Partner Street Team has now started up. This is a way to be involved in the music by bringing it to others who might enjoy it. It also give you a chance to get your hands on all types of unreleased material. If you are interested in being a part of spreading the music, please join the team now!

Brad will be embarking on his second tour with Michelle Penn, this times opening up for
The Go Go's. It is primarily a West Coast Tour starting on August 8th and ending in late
August. Check the shows page for more details. Also keep an eye out for local shows featuring acoustic
performances by Michelle & Brad as well as solo shows for Brad (also listed on the shows page).

Well, the Jason Mraz/Michell Penn tour is finally over and it was really an amazing ride. I have almost completely updated the road
notes and photo pages now so you can see just exactly what happened out there...

Michelle Penn, one of the acts that Bradford Shaw had opened up for, has recently asked him to come on a House of Blues National Tour
as her keyboardist and guitarist. He has graciously accepted and they leave on April 20th for an 10 date tour opening for
Jason Mraz, pop's new face on the Billboard Charts.
